In 2015 Bro Lalith Perera and his team conducted the first, 4 Steps Retreat (A renewal in the baptism of the Holy Spirit) in Hobart, Tasmania, and thereafter a weekly Prayer Service was held for a period of time. In January 2021 servers from CRL Sri Lanka living in Canberra, were inspired to relocate to Tasmania. Together with others who were touched by the Lord, Intercessory Prayers were established in April 2021, and in Oct 2021, on the feast day of St Thérèse of Lisieux (the patron saint of Missions) the Lord paved the way for the Friday Prayer Meetings to be held at St Mary’s Cathedral.

HEALING SERVICE
Do you need healing of body mind or soul? Or simply desire a touch of God's love? Join us as we meet on the 1st Friday of every month (except in January) at St Mary's Cathedral Centre, 2nd floor (upper room) for a healing service. Holy Mass starts at 7.00 pm followed by Worship, Anointing & Prayer ministry. Come and be blessed.

If you're married or a single parent, we invite you to "The Way of Mercy"; an inspiring message shared on Marriage and Family, presented (live stream) by Francine and Byron Pirola of the Marriage Resource Center. Saturday 5th November 2022 at St John the Baptist Church, Parish Centre from 7.15 pm- 8.45 pm followed by cuppa and fellowship.
