The Son of man is Lord and rules over Sabbath.
  • Colossians 1:21-23
  • Psalm 54:3-8
  • Luke 6:1-5

Recently I read an article that scientists often highlight two areas of our cognitive architecture. Working memory and long-term memory. We do all our conscious thinking in our working memory while storing additional de- tails in our long-term memory, but in contrast the human mind has significant limitations.

Each person’s abilities, talents, expertise and experiences are unique and diverse. Collectively so vast but heading in different directions. To function with the understanding of these limitations to our fullest potential we have been called to stand firm on the foundation of our faith which we have received not because of our merits or that we deserve but because He has chosen to pour our portion of faith into our hearts as gift of His passion and sacrifice the Lord underwent for us. We are invited to feed our hearts and minds with the knowledge and understanding of God, that He is the source of our existence. He designed our thinking capacities and abilities. Let us surrender to the Lordship of His authority.

Prayer: Abba Father, shepherd our hearts the Holy Spirit to surrender to Your Lordship and sovereign plan in our lives. Amen
