Allowing the Holy Spirit to transform
  • Acts 1:12-14
  • Luke 1:46-55
  • Luke 1:26-38

The prophet Malachi explains that if we search for what is good and pleasing to the Lord, we will receive the fulness of God’s blessings. We will see the Sun of justice. It is certainly food for thought as to why Jesus ended his sermon with reference to the Holy Spirit.

The Spirit reveals the glory, the majesty, and the love of the Savior. There is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. He gives us knowledge, gives us insight into the deeper things of God. We are not capable of being godly or living a spiritual life apart from the Holy Spirit. It is the love that flows between the Father and the Son. We have become a part of this.

The Spirit works in the realm of our unshakeable faith based on the trust in the promises of God. Often, we find ourselves carrying the heavy burden of life especially in a world that is suffering from its own mistakes. But the one who walks in the Spirit, can transform the world we live in!

Prayer: Abba Father, may the power of the resurrection take root in our lives, empowering us to do your holy will. Amen.
