Preach the Good News
  • Acts 4:32-37
  • Psalm 93:1-2,5
  • John 3:7-15

In today’s readings we are invited to be humble, calm and vigilant. To be still amid the trials we face, we need the strength of the Holy Spirit. To begin with let us repent for the moments we failed yielding to the Holy Spirit when we should have. Be baptised, stirring the presence of God inside of us in the power of the Holy Spirit. Ask God, as He has instructed us to ask, seek and knock, for a powerful experience. Be thirsty for God, let His power become a tangible experience. Spend time with Jesus, who baptises us in the power of the Holy Spirit. Finally let us present our lives as the temple of the Holy Spirit. Be open to his righteousness and be instruments of His calling for God cares about us. As we read in the first reading, let us unload our worries to Him, because He is looking after us. When we do not understand what is happening, the Holy spirit will guide our foot steps. This is the good news Jesus wants us to preach with many signs to follow confirming the presence of God through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer: Abba Father, give us the grace to open our hearts to receive and experience your goodness and your promises. Amen.
