The Holy Spirit – The greatest gift
  • Acts 17:15,22--18:1
  • Psalm 148:1-2,11-14
  • John 16:12-15

The Spirit of the Lord reveals the heart of Jesus to us. Are we aware of that? Do we experience his presence in our lives? Have we invited him to take over our lives? Are we trying to build a relationship with Him? The answer is quite often we ignore it knowingly or unknowingly. As Christians, we need to know and experience the Holy Spirit because He is the greatest gift. If we are close to him, he would make us holy and strengthen us through his fruits and his gifts. If we have the Holy Spirit then we have peace, and we will not fear because he is with us. How will we build that relationship with him? We need to enter into personal prayer and read the scriptures. As we practice this, we start to hear his voice and experience him. Once in a while we might fall back and we might attempt to walk away, but we can rise up and walk again with him. He is waiting to change our life and make us bold and happy. Therefore, as believers, let us be more open to the Holy Spirit and ask him to transform us according to God’s will.

Prayer: Abba Father, burn our life with your holy fire and fill us with your gifts to bring the Good news to your people. Amen.
