Pray unceasingly
  • Galatians 2:1-2, 7-14
  • Psalm 117:1-2
  • Luke 11:1-4

Today the Lord is teaching us how to pray. As Christians we know many prayers. The question is how do we pray? Are we thankful to the Lord for our lives? Are we right with God with our actions in our day to day lives? Have we asked pardon from the Lord for our mistakes? Many of us do not do that and we may not even think about it. We need to commit ourselves to prayer every day and give glory to our God for every moment of our lives because he is our creator, and we need his presence in our lives. Otherwise, our lives will be in chaos because we are vulnerable people and we need his leading and his love. But sometimes we may be tempted to think or question because we pray every day but God does not seem to listen to our prayer. God is with us all the time but we need to pray faithfully and give glory to him because faith needs to grow instead of doubt. Let us make a commitment to spend time with him every day and then our lives will be blessed, joyful and peaceful.

Prayer: Abba Father, help us to connect with you through prayer and awake our hearts and minds to experience your love. Amen.
