Follow me
  • Ephesians 4: 1-7, 11-13
  • Psalm 19: 2-5
  • Matthew 9: 9-13

Come as you are, I love you!! Each of us has received this call from the Lord Jesus in some form or another, this was what brought us into a relationship with him. We have been called to come to him with all our problems, all our addictions, all our hang-ups, all our mistakes, all our sins. We do not need to change before we come to him. No!! He came looking for the sinful, weak and broken, those whom the world shuns, the Lord Jesus embraces. His love is unconditional and all-encompassing and his call is to all of us “Follow me”. But though we are called to “Come  as we are” we cannot  continue  to  live our lives just as we are. The very love that drew us to the Lord Jesus gently, carefully and lovingly guides us to mature in our walk as Christians. Slowly day by day as we walk with Jesus in our daily lives,    we are changed into his image and likeness, and we are sent into the world to bring the good news of God’s salvation to all whom we meet.

Prayer – Abba Father, I come to you as I am, change my heart, Lord! Make me your own, mold me into your image and likeness. Amen
