We have the freedom to choose what we should do and become. As adults we know what we need in life and our decisions should be conscious choices. St Paul made such a conscious decision after his encounter with the Risen Lord. Every time when St. Paul was on crossroads, our Lord Jesus spoke to him to give the correct leading. We see such an occurrence in the first reading, the word which was spoken to St. Paul through a vision at night was confirmed by the incident that took place. He was asked to continue the mission in that place and the way was paved to do so. When we make correct decisions in life, our lives too will be guided without any confusion. Often we are confused because we take decisions based on selfish or ulterior motives. We might step out to serve the Lord but, on the way, get attracted to human glory. Looking at St. Paul we see that our lives can be guided in the correct path when we do things with right motives. Have we taken our mission from the hands of God to bring glory to Him?
Prayer: Abba Father, may I live my life to praise and glorify your name through every challenge and difficulty. Amen.
