If we are convinced of God’s love, we are to announce his salvation day after day and tell of his glory among the peoples. We are to rejoice in all circumstances. We will have challenges and setbacks but should not stop being joyful in all circumstances. As we exalt him, he will begin to rule in our lives and his presence will become constant. When his grace appears in our lives, it saves us and trains us to reject godless and worldly desires. We are given the grace to live temperately, justly and devoutly in this age and to pursue saintliness. We begin to await the blessed hope of a life in Christ as we shift from darkness to light. We are assured of the fact that Jesus gave his life to save us. As he cleanses us, we are eager to do what is good. Formerly, we were eager to do what is bad and unbecoming. “Blessed are they who have kept the word with a generous heart and yield a harvest through perseverance” (Lk 8:15). Let us put into practice what we read in the Word of God.

PRAYER: Abba Father, come and be enthroned in my life. Amen.
