Infinite ocean of God’s love
  • Isaiah 11:1-10
  • Psalm 72:1-2,7-8,12-13,17
  • Luke 10:21-24

In the past, I lived in a certain understanding of the world. I followed the trends of this world, latest fashion, new sports stars, entertainment and whatever gratified my desires. I wanted to become well educated with a well-paid job. I was fortunate to live half of my life in a first-world country where money, pleasure, all the basic needs were never an issue. With everything I knew and everything I had, I was in the understanding that life cannot get much better than this. It was when I encountered the love of God, that everything changed.

It was as if heavenly wisdom dawned on me. I realized the truth about the emptiness of worldly things. All the pleasures I enjoyed in this world became nothing but an insignificant drop of water in the vast ocean of God’s love and wisdom. I felt like most of my life was wasted doing empty things. God in his mercy chose to reveal true wisdom to me. “No one knows who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him”

Prayer: Abba Father, thank you for revealing your self to us through your Son, take us deeper into your love and wisdom. Amen.
