Hope in God
  • Exodus 32:7-14
  • Psalm 106:19-23
  • John 5:31-47

We are weak human beings. Over and again we forget God’s faithfulness and the miracles he does. We conform to the ways of the unbelieving world. When we do not see immediate answers to our prayers we tend to go back to the world for solutions because our faith is weak and in today’s quick fix style of life we lose patience when we do not get instant answers. It is difficult for us to understand God’s ways and timing. When we repent and ask for forgiveness, God in his mercy forgives us. When we accept and believe in Jesus we believe in God’s love and the greatness and
goodness of God. We set our hope on God. We need to put our faith in God and pray for the strengthening of our faith and the faith of others. As Christians we are called to be witnesses to Jesus, the truth of his teachings, and to the reality of God. We are to become living testimonies and representatives of the living God. When others see us they need to see God in us and through us. Let us not forget this responsibility.

PRAYER: Abba Father, I set my hope upon you. Amen.
