For you do not know when the Son of Man will come
  • 1 Thessalonians 3: 7-13
  • Psalm 90: 3-5, 12-17
  • Matthew 24: 42-51

Today again through the Holy Gospel, the Lord reminds us of his second coming. We live in a world where faith has the least importance. Few of us are ready to witness the second coming of our Lord. While we try to live a life in the Spirit, there are greater forces of this world that are trying to deviate us from our divine purpose.

Sin has become common and normal, taking true repentance away from human hearts. The message of Calvary has become so insignificant to most of humanity. Can we go like this? Can we afford to neglect the power of the resurrection that Lord Jesus left in the world? As in John 14:3, Lord Jesus promises us by saying “I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and welcome you into my presence, so that you also may be where I am”. He wants all of us to be with him at the end and no one knows when he is coming back to gather us into his presence. Let us repent, be ready and continue to outperform and win against the forces of the enemy.

Prayer: Abba Father prepare our hearts, minds and spirits to accept and be ready for your second coming and be watchful of our own salvation. Amen
