Give thanks to the Lord…, for his steadfast love endures forever.
  • Colossians 1:1-8
  • Psalm 52:10-11
  • Luke 4:38-44

Today’s readings contain a vital message: Continue to be faithful for our Lord Jesus Christ wishes to pour out His grace so we can have peace in plenty. The Good news of the Gospel must make abearing on us so we can make a response. It changes lives, a whole change from the inside out, because of His Truth. Moreover, this message of the Person and Work of our Lord Jesus Christ lasts to go out to the entire world!

In today’s Gospel when Peter’s mother-in-law was in the grip of a fever and the disciples begged Jesus to do something for her. There is a lesson here. Health and healing are not just for the individual. Her healing immediately restored her to the community and the duty of serving that community. Who do you take your worries to? Jesus’ disciples freely brought their worries to him because they found him ready and capable to deal with any difficulty or sickness. Take your worries and confusion to Jesus today!

Prayer: Abba Father, you have the power to heal and to deliver. Amen
