God’s love is beyond our understanding
  • Acts 19:1-8
  • Psalm 68:2-7
  • John 16:29-33

Our lives begin to blossom when we accept Jesus as the Lord of our lives. Though Jesus unceasingly spoke to his disciples of the Father who loves us without any boundary, it seems that they were unable to fully understand it. Jesus said that at the crucial moment of facing the battle ‘my Father will not abandon me’. It was as if he was indicating to the disciples ‘as my followers remember to hold on to the Father when you are persecuted’. Challenges will be a part of our lives yet God’s strength is sufficient for us to face them. We are united to the Father and no one can snatch us away from his love. Great and mighty miracles happened through the power of the Holy Spirit as Paul placed his hands on people and preached the kingdom of God with boldness. This same power has been given to us at baptism. The more we discover this heritage which is hidden within us like a treasure, supernatural power will touch the lives of people around us. We are blessed beyond measure.

PRAYER: Abba Father, it is beyond our understanding to fathom your love for us. We love you with all our hearts. Amen.
