Let us see beyond ourselves
  • Romans 14:7-12
  • Psalm 27:1,4,13-14
  • Luke 15:1-10

Every choice we make, every word we speak, every act we do: none of it exists in isolation. Saint Paul reminds us that we do not live nor die for ourselves alone. Our lives, whether hidden or public, ripple into the lives of others. This truth calls us to a deep responsibility: to live in such a way that Christ’s love is visible through us. How often do we slip into living as if it is only about me: my comfort, my pride, my recognition? Yet God calls us to see beyond ourselves. Our patience with a child, our honesty in the workplace, our forgiveness in family conflict: all these moments declare whose we are and whom we serve. Jesus shows us that heaven rejoices when even one heart turns back. What if we lived with that same joy for others? Instead of criticizing, we could encourage. Instead of dismissing the weak, we could lift them up. Let us then live with purpose, accountability, and compassion, knowing that we belong to the Lord.

PRAYER: Abba Father, may my actions and words glorify you. Amen.
