Today’s first reading concludes the story of Moses. Despite his intimate relationship with God and his tireless guidance of the people, Moses is only allowed to view the Promised Land from a distance. God’s plans often extend beyond our personal journeys. Leadership involves planting seeds of faith and trust, even if we do not see the fruits. Moses’ life reflects obedience and humility, encouraging us to trust God’s greater purposes. The Gospel reading shifts our focus to community and reconciliation. Jesus teaches about addressing conflict with grace, aiming to restore relationships. This process of accountability shows the importance of unity in the body of Christ. Jesus’ assurance of his presence gives us comfort. It affirms that God values both the collective and the personal, guiding his people in their spiritual and relational lives. There should be a balance between individual faithfulness and collective harmony. Let us lead with humility and seek reconciliation in community.
PRAYER: Abba Father, guide us in humility, reconciliation, and trust. Amen.
