Repent and Believe
  • Baruch 1:15-22
  • Psalm 79:1-5,8-9
  • Luke 10:13-16

Today’s readings remind us of the importance of repentance and faith in God. To truly believe that God is God, the Creator of heaven and earth, we must come before him with open hearts. He is always waiting for us—the broken, the lost, the sinful, the lonely, and the helpless. No matter how far we may have strayed, his arms remain wide open to welcome us back. When we turn to him, we begin to realize how awesome, powerful, and loving our God truly is. In his presence, the burdens of life grow lighter, and our hearts are filled with hope. He is the one who can answer our deepest questions, calm our restless spirits, and provide solutions where the world sees no way forward. Nothing is beyond his wisdom, for he alone can create answers out of what seems impossible. Therefore, let us fall at his feet, and offer him the truth of our hearts. He is not only the Father of all but also my Father, my Abba. Let us rest in his embrace and be lost in his love.

PRAYER: Abba Father, open our eyes to see your greatness and to believe in your unfailing love. Amen.
