The Lord will guard us
  • Ezekiel 37:21-28
  • Jeremiah 31:10-13
  • John 11:45-56

God promises to gather his scattered people and bring them into unity, giving them one shepherd and a covenant of peace. This vision of restoration reminds us that God’s love seeks to heal what is broken: not only in our communities but also within our hearts. Even when we feel divided, lost, or overwhelmed, God invites us to trust his plan and allow him to bring new life. In the Gospel, the raising of Lazarus shows Jesus’ power over death and his compassion for those who mourn. Faith in him calls us to recognize God’s presence in moments of sorrow, fear, or uncertainty, and to act courageously in hope. Let us reach out to reconcile with someone we have distanced ourselves from, foster unity in family or community, and bring hope to those who feel despair. We are invited to trust in God’s timing, speak life and encouragement, and allow his love to guide our decisions, reflecting his peace and restoration in everyday life.

Abba Father, help us to listen and respond to your call. Amen.
