God’s grace is not confined to familiar places or expected people. When hearts are open, joy follows. The laying on of hands by the apostles shows that faith is communal: strengthened and completed within the life of the Church. We are not meant to journey alone; we are sustained by the Spirit working through others. St. Peter urges believers to be ready to give a reason for their hope, but with gentleness and reverence. This is a quiet strength rooted in a clear conscience and a life aligned with Christ. Witness is most powerful when it flows from integrity and peace, even in suffering. In the Gospel, Jesus promises that love for him is expressed in keeping his commandments, and that such love opens us to the presence of the Spirit. We are not left orphaned; God dwells within us. Where does our hope truly rest? Are we aware of God’s presence? Let faith shape our actions, so that our lives would become a living witness to those who seek hope.
PRAYER: Abba Father, help us to keep your commandments. Amen.
