God’s patience with his people, even when they are disobedient and stubborn, is incredible. He uses every method, gives ample time to repent, and speaks through the prophets to reveal his will, yet often hearts remain untransformed. As a result, people have paid a high price with their lives. Looking at the world today, many young people have placed their priorities on modern technology and the luxuries the world offers. Consequently, many have become victims of depression, anxiety, stress, and other mental health struggles. There seems to be a lack of dependence on, trust in, and belief in the Lord, and the pursuit of happiness and success often leads instead to bitterness and darkness. God reminds us: “I will look after all your needs.” He invites us to observe nature, the animal kingdom, and the harmony around us, experiencing the peace and unity that reflect his creation. Through the Gospel, we hear the voice of the Father calling us to rest in his love. How blessed we are to be his children!
PRAYER: Abba Father, it is comforting to rest in your arms and know that we are loved beyond our understanding. Amen.
