Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.
  • Acts 14:19-28
  • Psalm 145:10-13,21
  • John 14:27-31

There are moments when perseverance feels exhausting. We may give generously of ourselves, stand by what we believe is right, and still encounter resistance, misunderstanding, or rejection. In such moments, discouragement can quietly take root, tempting us to withdraw. Faithfulness does not guarantee ease. It often asks us to remain present and committed even when the journey becomes painful or uncertain. We might measure fruitfulness by comfort rather than trust. At such times, our perspective needs gentle re-orientation. When we lift our gaze beyond immediate
outcomes, we remember the enduring faithfulness of God, whose kingdom unfolds beyond what we can see or control. In that remembering, gratitude can replace fear. Jesus speaks into this restlessness by offering peace, not as the world offers, but as a steady presence within us. Let us observe where we resist letting go, and where we might allow God’s peace to dwell more freely within us.

PRAYER: Abba Father, grant us peace and unity in accordance with your will.”Amen.
