Today we celebrate the central mystery of our Christian faith: the Blessed Trinity, one God in three Persons. In the first reading, the Lord reveals himself as just, powerful, merciful, and compassionate: slow to anger, rich in love and faithfulness. His mercy surpasses our faults; his forgiveness overcomes our gravest sins; his fidelity is stronger than our infidelity. He is the God who gives us second chances and more. Through Baptism, we receive the Holy Spirit, becoming children of God in a profound way, able to call him “Abba, Father.” We become brothers and sisters of Christ; he lives in us, and we in him. We are drawn into the loving communion of Father, Son, and Spirit. This is our deepest identity. We are called to accept God’s grace, the power that transforms us into Christ’s image. The Trinity is not an abstract idea but a living communion of love. We pray to the Trinity and are called to reflect that divine communion in our families, the Church, and the world.
PRAYER: Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; to God who is, who was, and who is to come. Amen.
