In his New Year message for 2026, brother Lalith affirmed the importance of believing the Gospel message and living out our true identity in Christ. He shared how his ministry shifted from routine works and prayers to a lived experience of the supernatural when they began to believe and walk in their identity in Jesus. As we reflect on today’s first reading, we see a transformation taking place in the lives of the apostles. Having seen the risen Christ, they were eager to live out their God-given identity: not just for themselves, but so that the Good News might spread far and wide. Each of us, in Christ, has become an heir to this glorious inheritance. Scripture reminds us: “You are the children of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your ancestors…and in your offspring all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” By the resurrection of Christ, we have been made conduits of the Holy Spirit, so that through us many others may be blessed.

Abba Father, help me to truly believe the Gospel message and to live in the truth. Amen.
