May they all be one
  • Acts 22:30; 23:6-11
  • Psalm 16:1-2,5,7-11
  • John 17:20-26

St. Paul’s witness shows that faith calls us to stand firm in the midst of division and uncertainty. He faces suspicion, hostility, and the threat of violence, yet he does not waver. His courage stems from a deep awareness that he is not alone: God’s presence guides and strengthens him, sustaining him even when human support fails. This reminds us that fidelity to God may place us in challenging circumstances, but such trials can become occasions for growth and testimony. In the Gospel, Jesus prays for unity among all who will believe through their witness. Love, truth, and unity are inseparable: to belong to Christ is to participate in the divine communion, reflecting God’s glory to the world. Faith is relational; it thrives when it is lived in connection with God and with others, drawing hearts together in the Spirit. Even in opposition or isolation, God’s guidance and love remain present, shaping both our witness and the community of believers into instruments of divine unity.

PRAYER: Abba Father, keep me safe; you are my hope. Amen.
