Wisdom is a Breath of the might of God
  • Wisdom 7:22–8:1
  • Psalm 119:89-91,130,135,175
  • Luke 17:20-25

Wisdom is not human cleverness but the radiance of God’s spirit, pervading and ordering all creation. Wisdom is the gentle force that brings harmony and balance, guiding the human heart to discern truth, justice, and love. When we welcome wisdom, we welcome God himself into our lives, because wisdom is his presence shining through us. In the Gospel reading, Jesus reminds the Pharisees that the kingdom of God is not something to be observed with signs and spectacles. Rather, it is already among us: in our hearts, in acts of love, and in the quiet presence of Christ. The kingdom does not come with outward show, but with inward transformation. To truly see the kingdom, we must open our eyes with faith, letting wisdom shape the way we live, serve, and love. Let us become beacons of Christ’s kingdom in action. May our lives reveal that wisdom and faith bear fruit in service. May we seek wisdom daily, so Christ’s kingdom may grow within us.

PRAYER: Abba Father, grant us wisdom to see your kingdom within us. Amen.
