Job accepted both good times and bad times from the hands of the Lord. He praised God and remained faithful amid joy, trials, and storms. This is true discipleship: trusting God in every season of life. In the Gospel reading, the disciples were arguing about who was the greatest among them. Jesus responded by placing a child beside him and teaching that the one who is least among all is the greatest. He reminds them that true greatness is found in humility, and that whoever welcomes the least in his name welcomes him. Even those who are not part of “our group” but act in his name are not to be rejected, because God’s work is greater than our boundaries. We are called to love and accept the weakest, poorest, and most insignificant. When we reach out to them, we experience the presence of Jesus, and our Heavenly Father is glorified. This is the best way to bear witness to the Gospel and to bring Jesus to all.

PRAYER: Abba Father, help me to be faithful to you by loving and caring for the smallest, and the weakest among us. Amen.
