The Kingdom of God often begins in ways that seem insignificant. The Lord Jesus compares it to a mustard seed, one of the smallest seeds, which grows into a large plant, and to yeast that quietly transforms an entire batch of dough. God can work through the smallest acts of faith, love and kindness when we place them in His hands. We often become discouraged because we cannot see immediate results from our prayers, sacrifices or efforts to do good. Yet God does not ask us to see the whole picture; He asks us to remain faithful. A simple word of encouragement, a sincere prayer, an act of forgiveness or a small sacrifice can become an instrument of His grace. Let us never underestimate what God can accomplish through our little efforts. May we faithfully plant the seeds of His love each day, trusting that, in His time, He will make them grow and bear abundant fruit. May we have the patience to trust God’s timing and the faith to believe that nothing offered to Him is ever wasted.
PRAYER: Abba Father, make all things beautiful, in your time. Amen.
