St. Paul reminds us that those who have faith are children of Abraham and share in the blessing promised to him. Our relationship with God, therefore, is not based merely on observing rules or fulfilling religious duties, but on trusting Him and living by faith. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, we have been freed from the curse of sin and given the promise of the Holy Spirit. In the Gospel reading, the Lord Jesus reminds us that the Kingdom of God has come among us. Yet, when our hearts are divided or left empty, we become vulnerable to falling back into old ways. It is not enough to remove evil from our lives; we must allow Christ to fill our hearts. True faith transforms us from within. Let us not reduce Christianity to rituals, rules or outward appearances. Let us place our complete trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, welcome the Holy Spirit into our lives, and allow our faith to bear fruit in love, obedience and good works.
PRAYER: Abba Father, transform our hearts and minds. Amen.
