Today’s reading reminds us that we are all called to different roles and responsibilities. Regardless of the task, the challenge lies in how authentically we live out God’s will. In a world full of temptations and judgment, the question remains: Do we conform out of fear, or do we stand firm in proclaiming the Good News? Similarly, St. Paul was called to preach to the Gentiles, while Peter was called to preach to the Jews. The difference was that Peter feared being judged, and his actions did not reflect the truth he believed. Therefore, let us ask ourselves: Am I more concerned about what others think of me than about doing what God asks of me? Remember, we carry the most powerful weapon within us: the love of God. God’s love and faithfulness have no bounds or limits. So why stop? Why fear? When we remain faithful to God, even in the face of opposition, He gives us the courage to stand firm. Jesus reminds us that all it takes is to remain in union with God through prayer.
PRAYER: Our Father, who art in heaven, thy kingdom come, thy will be done. Amen.
